WAC Link Quarterly Wednesday, October 1 For more than three years, WAC Link Quarterly has been the perfect place for member networking. e Presidents Suite plays host for this month's fast-paced member mixer. Start the evening off with hosted appetizers and a no-host bar. At 6:30, we kick off SpeedLink, where you'll meet 15 different people in three-minute link-ups. Everyone gets the same conversation starter prompt. ere are also group activities and prizes. Thursday, October 23; 7:30 pm; $68 Saturday, October 25; 2 pm; $88 YOU'RE INVITED NEW WAC Blood Drive Monday, August 25 is year is the 70th anniversary of the Puget Sound Blood Center, an organiza- tion that provides healthy blood to ill and injured people throughout western Washington. In recognition of the cen- ter's anniversary and the WAC's role as a founding partner with the PSBC, we are partnering with them for a blood drive. We invite our members, their family and friends, and WAC team members to par- ticipate. To donate, you must be at least 18 years old, 114 pounds, and in good health. Giving blood is safe and easy. It typically takes 40–50 minutes. e process includes a health-history question- naire and screening interview, blood pressure and pulse check, donation time, and time afterward for juice and cookies with volunteers and fellow donors. Drinking plenty of water and eating a healthy meal within four hours of donat- ing is recommended. e WAC Blood Drive will take place in the Noble Room, just inside the Club's main entrance. Each donation of blood can save up to three people's lives. We hope you will step up to change lives with us. Contact Club Programs to schedule.
