CLUB PROGRAMS 206.464.3060 • clubprograms@wac.net WAC Bridge Teams Excel Weinberg Trophy in the 2013 interclub competition after winning the Sir Thomas Lipton Trophy in 2012. The Ballard– Weinberg Trophy is awarded each year to the team whose score marks the greatest improvement over the scores in the most recent two years. This team has been a powerhouse through the years, winning numerous times, and is always the team to beat. The Club's Sir Lipton Cup team, meanwhile, consists of men and women and is captained by John Weinberg. The team won the Ballard– Children's Holiday Show I: Le Petit Nutcracker Children's Holiday Show II: Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol L U K E R U TA N ( 4 ) December 14–15, 2013 The WAC was filled with holiday cheer as children of all ages visited Santa in the Johnson Lobby Lounge. The children shared all of their wishes for the Christmas season, and Santa listened closely. Meanwhile, ballet dancers from the Ballet Academy of Performing Arts in Edmonds left little boys and girls dreaming of sugar plum fairies after rousing performances of Le Petit Nutcracker in the Crystal Ballroom. Also, Taproot Theatre shared Charles Dickens' holiday classic, A Christmas Carol.
