44 WAC Magazine | wac.net 'Let's meet at the WAC' WAC member and real estate agent Cheyenne Gillooly serves as Vice Pres- ident of Business Practices for Seattle King County Realtors and has hosted more than 30 professional events at the Club. One of her favorite phrases: "Let's meet at the WAC." Cheyenne recently hosted her associ- ation's monthly networking breakfast in the Crystal Ballroom, where the group meets regularly. Her events have enjoyed rapid growth in attendance, something she attributes to the venue and the WAC staff. "Work- ing with the Catering team has been amazing," Cheyenne says. "Jennifer just 'gets it.' I never have to worry about any- thing. Our attendees feel welcomed from the moment they walk in. And out-of- town guests enjoy the WAC's proximity to everything downtown." Jennifer says the WAC team prides it- self on making sure every event—big or small—is truly special. "If you can dream it, we can do it," she says. "We have the space, team, and amenities to put on almost any type of event." Members Wendy and Dan Guy recently turned to the Catering team to help host a welcome reception for about 40 incoming University of San Diego freshmen and their parents in the Johnson Lobby Lounge. Dan's daughter, Mackenzie, is a junior at San Diego. "e event was a huge success," says Dan, who was 2008 WAC Chairman of the Board. "Feedback from the university was fantastic. One of the guests was a former member who was happy to re- turn to the Club and see that it remains a pillar of the Seattle community." u Member Cheyenne Gillooly, with glasses, says guests at private events held at the WAC "feel welcomed from the moment they walk in."
