This boot camp–style class incorpo- rates interval training and swimming. Participants can expect to swim at least 500 yards with interval-timed and deck workouts. X Fridays: 10–11 am Aquatic Cardio and Strength Lower-intensity class for those who want a water workout without aggravating joints, hips, and knees. Inter- val training–style class with resting periods. Participants can expect to use the shallow and deep end of the pool. X Fridays: 11 am–12 pm Aquatic Cardio Fitness Deep Water This workout incorporates interval cardio and strength training in deep and shallow ends of the pool. Participants can expect a low-impact workout, including treading water and training key muscle groups. X Tuesdays: 11 am–12 pm Aquatic Cardio Shallow and Deep Water For those who want a medi- um-intensity water workout X The Main Event takes place February 2–3. A waitlist is being kept for the sold-out event. Join the waitlist via the WAC app. is year's 26th annual Main Event, a collegiate boxing invita- tional hosted by the Washington Athletic Club, is set for Friday and Saturday, February 2–3. e Main Event is sold out, and a waitlist is being kept. e black-tie event starts with dinner and a comedy show in the Crystal Ballroom followed by about 10 bouts of collegiate boxing in the 8th Floor gym each night. e Main Event features some of the country's premier college fighters, including boxers from the University of Washington and the military academies. X Mondays: 10–11 am Shallow Water Aqua Fit A fun and invigorating workout in the shallow end of the pool. Participants can expect to stretch, strengthen, and lengthen their bodies with Pilates moves in the supportive environment of the pool. Open to all fitness levels, from those who wish to remain in the shallow end to swimming experts. X Wednesdays: 10–11 am Aqua Fit Yoga Supplement your regular yoga practice with this gentler, slower-paced aqua yoga session. Improve your strength, flexibility, and balance in the water.
