He usually works out on the 4th Floor and tries to include strength-train- ing, squash, running, and some racquet- ball in his routine. He also plays golf reg- ularly, including using the Simulator on the 8th Floor to help improve his swing speed. "I am simultaneously working on increasing my swing speed and my ac- curacy, but the two are working against each other," he jokes. Roger's fitness rou- tine and hobbies help manage the stress- ors of running an international law firm. "I have a lot of coping mechanisms," he says a day aer visiting e Shop. He's standing in his front yard at the top of the Magnolia hill ensconced in a puffy white suit and screened helmet. Around him, a pulsating buzz fills the air. It's the fourth year Roger and his wife, Daiva, have raised bees. "Beekeeping and interacting with bees have a calming and meditative effect for me," he says, liing wooden frames out of a box and inspecting them one by one while bees take off, swarm, and land all around him. "e rhythmic hum of the bees, the scent of honey, and the overall peaceful- ness of the process create a soothing and relaxing atmosphere. is is my ranch. It's a long way from southern Georgia, where Roger, the middle of three children, largely spent his childhood out- doors.
