Not to worry, no actual dirt is involved. OK, maybe a little. But so is a whole lot of fun! Tell all the men in your life to grab their hard hats and celebrate the WAC's 81st Annual Father Son Banquet with family, friends, and awesome adventure. There's nothing more fun than letting boys be boys—especially in the Crystal Ballroom. Get ready for an evening filled with memory photos, activities, and a finger lickin' good dinner. Dads and sons 12 and up will be served Caesar salad to start, grilled flank steak with seasonal veggies, and fingerling potatoes, while sons under 12 will devour Sloppy Joes, tater tots, and green beans. For dessert, all will enjoy "dirt cups"—chocolate pudding, crushed cookies, and gummy worms. Following dinner, the Noble Room will play host to a hands-on mobile garden experience with Seattle Tilth. Get a little dirty and learn about the importance of compost, soil, red wiggler worms, and the mighty arthropods that live in everyone's backyard. A night of adventure awaits at this fun boys' night out, so be sure to reserve and get ready to get dirty! 5:30 pm social/memory photos, 6 pm dinner, 7 pm activity; $57 each for dads and sons 12+, $35 for sons under 12; cancel by June 4 Seattle Theatresports has combined sports and comedy into a wholly original show that never fails to elicit cheers, jeers, and plenty of laughs. Join the WAC as we get up close and in the middle of all the action in the VIP area, steps from the stage. So what is it, you ask? A fully improvised show using suggestions from the audience as a jumping-off point—and making it all up on the spot. The goal is to focus on story, narrative, technical game-playing, and comedy. For 30 years, hilarity has ensued in Seattle's Unexpected Productions theater, located in Post Alley. If you come, bring your A-game and help make the magic happen. We'll start the evening at the nearby Alibi Room for a hosted cocktail and some late-night appetizers. Then sit back and get ready to experience the thrill of victory, the agony of defeat, and a sore stomach from laughing too hard. Event includes one cocktail, appetizers, and ticket to the improv show. Meet at the Alibi Room. 8:30 pm–12 am; $40; cancel by April 19 single-malt scotch "tour of scotland" at macleod's tuesday, may 7—new Date aDDeD thursday, may 9—sold out tuesday, may 14—sold out After quickly selling out two nights, a third night, May 7, has been added for this very popular Scotch tasting event at Macleod's in Ballard.
