Feast your eyes and indulge in gourmet food and specialty beverages at each stop. The evening will begin at Torchy's. From there we'll head to: Urbane, inspired by the culinary spoils of the Pacific Northwest, features the farm-to-table concept in the heart of the city. VESSEL, voted a 2011 Best Bar in America by Esquire—and known for its ultra modern design, upscale cocktails, and small plates—is our next stop. Blueacre Seafood will round out the evening with amazing seafood. Reserve early for this annual sellout event filled with wonderful food, tasteful drinks, and great company. 5–10 pm; $80; noncancelable/nonrefundable Link up! wac link Quarterly N EW thursday, June 27 Meet in the Presidents Suite for the WAC's wac popular networking ™ event. Informal, fastpaced, and a great way to make connections. This quarterly mixer is focused on linking you to a roomful of members and the WAC. By the time the final bell rings, connections, friends and workout partners will be found. Here's how it works: PreLink starts at 6 pm and gives everyone a chance to arrive, grab a beverage, and enjoy appetizers. At 6:30 pm, we kick off SpeedLink, where you'll meet 15 different people in three-minute link-ups. Everyone gets the same starter question. You take the conversation from there. After SpeedLink, an all-play group activity and prizes take place before last call. Meet in the Presidents Suite on the 12th Floor for an evening of engaging conversation and connection. Light appetizers and no-host bar available. To receive WAC Link updates and reminders, send an email to clubprograms@wac.net and write "Link List" in the subject line. 6–8 pm; complimentary (no reservations necessary); appetizers and cash bar NEW May putt putt golf at the rusty putter wednesday, July 17 What do putters, golf balls, lush greens, and captivating views of the Seattle skyline have in common? You guessed it: mini golf at the Rusty Putter at The Golf Club at Newcastle. Teams of four will compete on the 18-hole natural grass putting course, complete with water features and bunkers. Even the most skilled golfer can't resist the lure of mini golf. But this isn't your 5-yearold's game. You'll start your quest with a tasty beverage and appetizers at the bar and food station located on the course. Then it's time to hit the links (so to speak). After all the putters and golf balls have been retired, prizes will be awarded to the "Prized Putter" and "Terrific Team." Bonus points will be awarded to those who wear their best golf duds, including argyle, knee socks, polo shirts, sweater vests, and hats. Spend a summer evening with friends. Sign up individually or as a team of four. Includes 18 holes of mini golf, heavy appetizers, and an alcoholic beverage. No-host bar available. Will the team regain its title? Or will a new team cruise to victory? Begin by selecting someone to captain and pilot your 10-person electric Duffy boat before heading into a heated (but friendly) competition afloat. As you race around Lake Union, your mission is to solve a list of crafty clues and puzzling riddles to determine the identity of items visible from the lake. You have two hours to complete the task. The first boat to return with the most correct answers wins a prize. Each year the scavenger hunt has a new set of clues, so everyone has a fair shot. Since you'll be burning up brain fuel, plentiful platters of finger foods, sweets, bottled water, and soft drinks are included onboard. You also may bring your own beer or wine to help energize your creative thinking.
