TASTING NOTES: This wine delivers rich blackberry and dark cherry on the palate and aromas of caramel with a hint of vanilla on the nose. This is a well-balanced wine, showcasing the winemakers care in integrating tannins, fruit and acid. It is an ideal wine to pair with the classic steaks and sauces or the charcuterie platter at Torchys. The rounded tannins make this wine completely drinkable from the moment the bottle is opened. DISCOvERy: Just like us here at the WAC, Justin is making a distinct effort to go green. The winery is implementing sustainable practices wherever practicalin its buildings and in the fields. By using biodynamic farming and water reclamation ponds, and by joining ReCORk America, Justin Vineyards & Winery is committing to help the environment. Diane Rae Jones is chair of the WAC Wine Advisory Committee, former president of the WAC Wine Club, and a Level 1 Sommelier.
