POSTSCRIPT Photography by Leo Santiago Main Event January 26, 2013 A record crowd showed up for the 16th Annual Main Event, a collegiate boxing invitational. The evening started in the Crystal Room with dinner and entertainment by nationally renowned comedian Don Friesen. More than 260 attendees then moved to the 8th Floor Gym, where nine bouts took place between fighters from Air Force Academy, Coast Guard Academy, University of San Francisco, UCLA, and University of Washington. U.S. Olympic women���s boxer Queen Underwood of Seattle was in attendance and awarded the winners of two female bouts their victory medals. Others in attendance included longtime Air Force coach Eddie Weichers, who has coached more than 300 all-Americans and more than 100 national champions.
