SUMMER / FALL 2025 29 club life members through the ages Q U I N N T O O M E Y ( 4 ) Heidi Morisset, 31 Member since 2022 Heidi Morisset loves WAC events! Two of her favorites are e Main Event and volunteering for the Special Olympics Washington powerliing invitational, hosted annually by the Club. She also sits on the 20s/30s Committee, plays for the WAC volleyball team, does Pilates, and uses the Spa at the WAC. For Heidi, the WAC is a feeling as much as a place. "I know from as soon as I enter the park- ing garage until I leave, members and team members will treat me with the utmost courtesy and respect," she says. "I'm proud to be an active member, and I plan to continue coming to the WAC for my lifetime." Miles Ahmadi, 15 Member since 2017 Miles Ahmadi learned to swim in the 6th Floor Pool—a skill he continues to hone at Seattle Prep, where he'll be a sophomore this fall. In addition to early morning pool sessions and time on the basketball court, Miles participates in Chess Club and plays Pickleball at the WAC. He also enjoys playing board games with friends in "1930" and study- ing in the Voogd Library. Miles credits the Club with creating consistency and rou- tine in his busy life. "e WAC is where I come to develop new skills and heighten already existing ones," he says. "It's a great place to spend time with my friends and family." Miles' mom, Crystal Perkins, and grandparents are also WAC members. Joshua Bolen, 25 Member since 2023 Joshua Bolen found his Seattle crew at the WAC aer relocating to the Pacific Northwest from Iowa City. He joined the Club for fitness and quickly found a community. e WAC basketball league, 20s/30s events, and Wine Club gather- ings have all connected him with new friends. "e WAC is my home away from home," Joshua says now. He also joined the Membership & Marketing Committee and started the Innova- tors: STEM & Tech affinity group aer attending a WAC event about the future of space and aeronautics. "I le the talk feeling so intrigued," he says. "at was the stimulus for the new group." Members through the ages WAC members Joshua Bolen, Heidi Morisset, and Miles Ahmadi each use the Club regularly.
