ese metal-tabbed bingo cards are in prime condition, considering that the wood grain design and maroon color scheme come
straight out of the WAC bingo halls of the 1960s. Emboldened with the Washington Athletic Club nameplate, these cards have
heard many a member's gleeful exclamations of "BINGO!" Nowadays, our members are more likely to get together around a
game of mahjong, chess, or checkers, oen in the 8th Floor Card Room or "1930" on the lobby level. Regardless of the game, the
essence lies in the shared moments fostered around the table. ese artifacts offer a poignant reminder that, ultimately, it's not
the games but the gathering that stands the test of time.
