Club lost
team member
and personal
trainer Aman-
da Schneider
to a tragic
accident this
past November.
Amanda will
be remembered for her infectious smile,
warm personality, and genuine care for
her clients and their well-being. Born
in 1995, Amanda's life was cut short
when, as a bystander of a multi-vehi-
cle collision, she was struck and killed
on a sidewalk near her apartment in
Belltown. During her five years at the
WAC, Amanda positively influenced our
lives through her passion for fitness and
wellness. Her loss deeply impacted many
around the Club.
"She was so passionate about what
she believed in," says Women's Fitness
Manager Alexandra Gordon. "She was a
strong, powerful young woman."
Personal Training Supervisor
Michelle Payne remembers Amanda
as a quiet yet strong presence in Coed
Fitness. "She had so much empathy for
people and wanted to make people bet-
ter," Michelle says.
It is with sad hearts that we honor
and remember the life of this wonderful
woman and extraordinary member of
the WAC team.
—Donations in memory of Amanda
may be made to Jake's Wish Dog Rescue
(jakeswishrescue.rescuegroups.org) and
the National Eating Disorders Association
(nationaleatingdisorders.org), two
charities she held dear.
