Renowned Seattle artist Gregory
Blackstock passed away earlier this
year. A former WAC dishwasher, Greg
illustrated for the Club's employee
newsletter and occasionally used items
from around the Clubhouse in his work,
which often centered on categories of
things. His passion and talent for art
blossomed into a successful career
that saw his work celebrated around
the world. We remember Greg for not
only his artwork but also his unique
personality and contributions to the
Club. In 2016, he became the first artist
to be featured in our Grand Staircase
Gallery, kicking off a new tradition of art
in the Club.
