Learn about gear selection, how to pack, "leave no trace" principles, and more. Please note that this class is a mandatory prerequisite if you wish to join the July WAC backpacking trip. Proceeds from the 5K will support the life-saving work of the Rivkin Center to fund cutting-edge ovarian cancer research and educational programs. X Sunday; 9 am; $20 18 Duck Dodge Happy Hour Sail What is Seattle's wackiest boating tradition? It's the Lake Union Duck Dodge, a loosely organized regatta where sailboats of every size gather to raise sails— and a few adult beverages, too! Join us for a Mardi Gras–themed evening aboard the 1926 historic wooden schooner Lavengro. Bring your own snacks and beverages. We'll have an assortment of Mardi Gras gear ready for a good time. X Tuesday; 5:30–8 pm; $55 21 WAC Ice Skating Beat the heat and spend some time on the ice! The WAC has a rink reserved at the Kraken Community Iceplex for your family, friends, and fellow WAC members.
