Operating Engineer Bill Rawe started at the WAC in 1957. Originally hired as a member of the cleaning crew, Bill has since become one of the Club's most prolific and reliable engineers. In addition to his substantial contributions to the Clubhouse through the years, Bill is also a popular guide for our Back of the WAC tours. "To me, the WAC has been a rock of security in a sea of change," Bill says. 35 YEARS DANIEL MEULBROEK, BANQUETS Eddie joined the WAC ranks in 1993 and has built three decades of mem- ories as a banquet server. "e WAC means everything to me," he says. "I love coming here every day, and it's always a pleasure to see members and my coworkers. I love them like family." 65 YEARS BILL RAWE, ENGINEERING Danny started at the Club full-time in 1988 and has been a banquet server long enough to remember delivering meals to the bowling alley on the 2nd Floor. "I remember having to be quite persistent to land the job in the 1980s," he says.
