Even better days ahead Normally, I would open a Spring/Summer letter with a grateful tribute to the onset of warmer, drier weather and the joys of summer, but given the remarkable meteorological uncertainties of the past few months I will simply say ... let's enjoy the warmer and dry days we occasionally get when we get them. We can dream! e WAC, in contrast, strives to provide that consistent positive environment, a comfortable place that you can count on for quality and excellence in all areas. A strong staff that the membership wonderfully respects and likes, facilities that evolve to meet the needs of today and the future, and programs and offerings that feed off tradition and are creatively new. A review of the Club's additions and changes over the last six months shows how we continue to steward the past and amend and move forward in appropriate and pleasing ways. Activity in the Club continues to be strong and grow as members return downtown and make the WAC a part of their day. Investment will need to continue, the growth and evolution never-ending. We enjoy our well-earned status as one of the nation's top private clubs, and together we are charged with the responsibility to meet the high expectations that go along with that. ose expectations from members or management and staff never lessen, and we all must embrace the opportunity to create an even greater WAC. Importantly, the WAC will continue to live its values and beliefs. We will support our community and our members and our team members and be the club that you and Seattle need. ank you for your involvement and passion—forward we go!
