Perhaps the most notable of all San Francisco's landmarks is the Golden Gate Bridge, whose iconic suspension design, vermillion color, and massive stature are synonymous with the state of California. Taking a stroll along nearby Golden Gate Park is an activity all first-time visitors should add to their list. An hour's walk away, you'll find the oldest Chinatown in North America. A half-mile uphill, iconic Coit Tower at the top of Telegraph Hill offers 360-degree views of the city, including the afore- mentioned famous bridge.
