Expand your social network and help plan unique WAC events by volunteering on a Club Programs event planning committee. e commitment is small and filled with opportunities to meet and build friendships with fellow members. You can't go wrong with serving on a Club Programs committee! Check out the descriptions here and sign up by Friday, August 5, at wac.net/cp-interest-form. Join the Club Events fun! Volunteer sign-ups now open for Club Programs committees • Evening meetings once a month. You must attend 85 percent of the meetings. • Come prepared with researched event ideas. • Participate in committee events. • Be ready to have fun! COMMITTEE MEMBER RESPONSIBILITIES: 20s/30s Grow your Seattle roots alongside fun-loving WAC members through networking, community outreach, and shenanigan-filled escapades, such as Tubing & Brews, bar tours, member mixers, and weekend trips. Family Activities Create memories at family- and kid-focused events centered around engagement and special moments, including WAC traditions, juniors camps, and family fun nights. In the Know Pick up a hobby, develop new talents, and expand your profession- al life. Past events have included expert discussions on space explo- ration, pasta-making nights, and our popular Learn to Play Bridge series. Arts & Entertainment Immerse yourself in the arts and enrich your social and cultural life while enjoying local hotspots, great shows, and adventures in dining. Past events have included food excursions, explorations of the local arts scene, and concerts. The WAC Way The WAC Way is a member-driven volunteer effort to give back to the greater Seattle community through service projects, partnerships, and charitable endeavors. Engagement Team A brand-new WAC committee! Connect, engage, and nurture your WAC social circle through affinity groups, casual get-togethers, and member-led clubs within the Club. This committee lays the foundation for member camaraderie.
