Aer joining, Amanda and Chris became a family of their own with the birth of their daughters. e family lived in Seattle prior to the pandemic and moved to Tacoma in December 2020. Despite the move, they continue to enjoy the Club—especially Penelope, who has become quite the fan of Hagerty's mac and cheese, doorman Charles Webster, and the friendly faces at WeeWACs. Mom, meanwhile, enjoys working out in Coed Fitness, treating herself to some relaxation at the Spa at the WAC, and sharing wine with friends. Chris takes boxing and spin classes and favors post- workout smoothies from the WAC Café and watching sports at Hagerty's. "I would also be remiss if I didn't mention our love of the WAC Santa and e Nutcracker performance," Amanda says. And now that they live in Tacoma, bringing the family to the WAC for a staycation has emerged as a new family favorite. Isabelle Auty Chris Auty Penelope, age 3 Isabelle and Chris Auty initially joined the WAC in 2014 before pushing pause to travel the world. Aer visiting 28 countries during a 200-day sabbatical, the couple still found Seattle No. 1 in their hearts. Isabelle has been coming to the WAC her entire life. Her parents, Vicki and Randy Berg, joined in the 1970s. As a kid, Isabelle enjoyed the magic of the Club during the holidays and exploring every nook and cranny of the Clubhouse with her sister. Now, with a family of their own, Isabelle and Chris look to give Penelope a similar experience. "e first day of the magical holiday decorations always puts me in the Christmas spirit, and Penelope can't wait to see Santa," Isabelle says. Isabelle and Chris also enjoy the Club's fitness facilities, which was one of the main reasons they joined. When they're not liing free-weights or hanging out with Penelope on the track, they enjoy using the Club's stationary bikes and creating a little friendly competition.
