Rather than think of fitness as an "extra," consider it a lifestyle. You wouldn't skip your workouts any more than you would skip work. Maureen: As each day unfolds, ask yourself what you are doing to nurture that lifestyle. Every January, we see an influx of members in our fitness areas. Many of the new faces disappear before spring. Taking a holistic approach to your wellness can keep you focused and coming back. More and more, our fitness team is seeing the benefits of re- ferring members to the nutritionist and others at the WAC Wellness Center. By taking your mindset beyond the gym, you can increase your likelihood of long-term success. Not only that, but you simply can't lose weight and keep it off with exercise alone. You need to make diet and lifestyle changes, too. George: e WAC offers a unique com- bination of centralized fitness and well- ness professionals. Members can bite off as much or as little as they want. Group fitness classes offer built-in support and relationships that keep you coming back. We completely understand the time con- straints busy professionals face, but we're also not afraid to remind you that active people are more productive people and feel better every day. However members decide to begin their new fitness life, WAC trainers, class instructors, and others throughout the Club's fitness floors are ready to make you feel welcome from day one. George: Our intention is that nobody feels alone or lost within our communi- ty. Some members love to try new things and jump right in. Others need a little more information and guidance.
