22 | WAC Magazine | wac.net Membership All-Stars Reciprocal Clubs Jubilee 87 Member Leaders Landry Christofferson Landry Christofferson joined the WAC four years ago to build his network and career as a tax accountant. Since then he has joined the Golf Club, the 20s/30s Committee, and the WAC basketball league. When his office moved across the street, Landry began to use the Club more than ever. at means more workouts, business lunches, and other time spent in the Clubhouse. In addition to exercising and networking, Landry enjoys attending social events. He even met his wife, Laura, during the WAC's annual Tubing & Brews excursion. "We love going to events, like the Seattle International Comedy Competition, with friends," Landry says. "Being craps dealers for Jubilee is our favorite!" Club Life Jeremy Vermilyea As a former member of Portland's Multnomah Athletic Club, a WAC reciprocal club, Jeremy Vermilyea was familiar with what the Washington Athletic Club had to offer. Aer moving to Seattle, Jeremy decided to join the WAC in 2014. Since then, he has immersed himself in the WAC communi- ty. "Joining the WAC has made it much easier for me to feel like I am part of something," Jeremy says, noting the diffi- culty many people face establishing themselves in a new city. Jeremy has found new social pursuits at the Club and grown his professional contacts. He also enjoys the relaxing environ- ment the WAC offers. "It's nice to have a place to come when I want a quiet space to recharge," he says. "Working out in the morning and having a post-work cocktail a few times a week has become a regular part of my routine."
