At the Wellness Center we have the Body Composition Analyzer, a machine that tracks your body fat percentage, muscle mass distribution, hydration levels, and health of your cells with a non-invasive 20-second reading. The data provided by this device makes it easier to gauge the effectiveness of an exercise program and diet, as well as determine areas of wellness that would benefit from more dedication and focus. A particularly useful application of the Body Composition Analyzer is its ability to measure lean body mass. Lean body mass has been shown to improve immune function, protect against insulin resistance, and contribute to sustaining strong and healthy bones. By better understanding the comprehensive health of your body, you can make the right modifications to your routine—increasing lean body mass and discovering a healthier you.
