With an audience of more than 155,000, SIFF was recently named one of Variety's 50 unmissable film festivals. WAC members are invited to this exclusive preview of the 2016 festival with director of programming Beth Barrett. Learn about the festival and get a sneak peek of festival film clips. The 25-day festival is renowned for its eclectic programming, with over 450 features, short films, and documentaries from over 80 countries annually. Big Sonia, pictured here, is the story of a tiny woman with a big impact. It will be featured as part of SIFF's 2016 festival. N E W WAC Juniors Summer Daze Camp Wednesdays, June 29–August 17 Summer is here! School's out, and there's no shortage of free time. Make the most of it with WAC kids summer camps, aka WAC Juniors Summer Daze. Inspired by popular Club events, WAC kids summer camp reimagines beloved adult activities such as the scavenger hunt and glassblowing for junior members (and their friends) ages 6–12. Starting June 29 and running every Wednesday through August 17, WAC Juniors Summer Daze promises to keep kids busy all day long. Traverse the city and beyond discovering the Puget Sound's history, traditions, art, and much more. From classic summer activities, like baseball and swimming, to unique opportunities, like rock climbing and bubble soccer, WAC kids summer camp is sure to please. For a full listing of what we have planned for the summer, please see pages 39–40. Price varies by camp. Discounts for siblings and multiple days are available. Transportation and lunch included. Junior members may invite friends to join the fun. Nonmembers pay a $10 processing fee in addition to the daily camp cost. Cancel two weeks prior to camp date.
