She enjoys describing what's in store for each year's party almost as much as she enjoys keeping a few surprises secret. "We never give it all away," she says. Past years have included roving magic shows, wandering buffet tables, festive photo portraits, digital caricatures, psychic readings, and costumed characters who highlight the party's theme. For last year's Red Hot Jubilee, the color of the night was on full display. "When you're throwing a party you want people to know what they're celebrating," Melissa says. "But you also want them to be laughing and having fun and enjoying everything that's going on." SEVEN PARTIES IN ONE At Jubilee, the real challenge is seeing it all. With six buffet stations, seven bars, multiple bands and dance floors, the Crystal Casino, and much more spread throughout the Club's first three floors, partygoers' biggest challenge is figuring out how to spend their time—and what to eat and drink.
