Founded in 2020 by composer Christophe Cha- gnard, the nonprofit organization works to promote arts and artists focused on climate justice. "e arts have an immeasurable power to ignite passion for addressing the enor- mity and urgency of climate change," Chagnard says. Earth Creative consists of more than 80 members who create art in a multitude of mediums. Painting, dance, and glass blowing are a few of the diverse ways Earth Creative partners share their passion for the natural world. "(We are) a gathering platform for artists from all over the world to share their passion for sustainability and climate justice through their creations," says Chagnard, who himself composes music aimed at addressing systemic racism, climate change, social injustice, and other global issues. Step into the Grand Staircase Gallery this summer and fall to see a host of inter- esting and varied art, from paintings to textiles and beyond. Each piece captures the individual artist's unique environments, providing perspective and introspection on the vastness of our planet and the power of a shiing climate.
