I would also like to extend a warm welcome to Suzana Sakay in her new role as President & CEO. Already, Suzana has infused the Club with renewed energy and vision. Here at the WAC, we have so much to celebrate! Our men's soccer team reached the first round of the U.S. Open Cup—making history as the first amateur team from Washington to participate in the tour- nament in the modern era. Also, our new rowing team competed in the prestigious Windermere Cup in early May, our basketball program sent seven teams to the North American Association of Club Athletic Directors (NACAD) national basketball tournament, and our lacrosse and rugby teams continue to showcase exceptional talent and sportsmanship in family-friendly matches. ese teams exemplify the WAC's commitment to supporting amateur athletics and achieve- ment. Meanwhile, if you're looking for a great meal, make sure to visit Hagerty's and Torchy's at the WAC. Both restaurants offer new menus that feature locally sourced ingredients, generous portions, and, of course, WAC Signature Sticky Buns! As the WAC embarks on our 95th year, we celebrate not only the Club's impact on the lives of our members and the community, but also the bright future ahead. ank you to everyone who has made the WAC a part of their lives and contributed to our ongoing story. ere is so much more to come! With gratitude, Maria Finlayson Chairman of the Board of Governors
