events/outings you want Club Programs to
host. If athletics is your thing, let us know
what you would like to be offered at the
Club. This is your opportunity to bring
any and all ideas forward, gain leadership
experience, and rack up some volunteer/
service hours. The goal of the panel is to
host brainstorming sessions a few times a
year to hear teen members ideas for events
and programs. The panel is geared to ages
1217.

subject line WAC Teen Advisory Panel for

Are You Sleeping? Dormez-vous?
Tuesday, January 15
For some of us, counting sheep has never
worked. Fortunately, there are specialists
who can help you get a perfect nights rest.
Two presenters will offer different perspectives on sleep deprivation. Dr. David
Chang, medical director of the Polyclinic
Sleep Medicine Center, will share the
medical side, discussing sleeplessness, sleep
cycles, and sleep apnea (and its causes and
solutions). Then Rebecca Parsons, a private
sleep coach of Sounder Sleep System and a
certified practitioner of the Feldenkrais
Method of somatic education, will educate
you about time-tested principles for selfhealing insomnia and realizing natural
and restful sleep. As Chang points out,
sleep is a necessity not a luxury. Light
refreshments will be served. No-host beer
and wine available.
