Data shows that life expectancy has nearly doubled in the United States over the past 120 years. As people live longer, they also strive to live better. Take Washington Athletic Club mem- ber Linda Perkins. She's always been into fitness, a practice she credits with getting her through a recent health scare. Now, in recovery, she's back stronger than ever. Full-day workouts that combine ReBoot, aquatics, Pilates, and the infrared sauna have helped her thrive. "If you look at exercise and recov- ery as a lifestyle, you'll benefit forever," Linda says. "As far as our health is con- cerned, I put in the work now, so I don't have to pay later." Linda's attitude of "try anything" is a prime example of how the Club's diverse offerings—including person- al training, nutritional counseling, physical therapy, massage, and more— contribute to overall well-being and a healthy lifestyle.
