COCKTAIL CORNER
VERY BERRY FIZZ
is beautifully pink drink embodies a simple summer li-
bation with bubbles, berries, and booze! Effervescent rosé,
fragrant gin, tart lemon juice, and a dash of sweet simple
syrup combine to create the Very Berry Fizz, a favorite
from WAC Cocktail Club members who craed this
drink. Fresh berries, in no shortage during Washington's
summertime, double as a whimsical garnish and sweetly
steeped snack once you get to the bottom of your glass.
Order this drink at Torchy's this summer and you'll enjoy
in-house berry-infused gin made by Chef Austin Navarre.
We'd call it "berry" drinkable!
RECIPE
• 2 oz. berry-infused gin
• 1 oz. freshly squeezed lemon juice
• 1 oz. simple syrup
• 2 oz. sparkling rosé
• Fresh berries for garnish
Build over ice. Combine lemon juice, simple syrup, and
gin over ice in a wine glass. Give it a good stir and top
with a float of sparkling rosé. Garnish with berries, sit
back, and sip.
