Festive attire suggested. Due to sophisticated humor and length, this We're offering a rare chance to get into the kitchen at Tom Douglas' Serious Pie, downtown at Fourth and Virginia. Although the pizza is "serious," the class is all about learning and having fun. Join Chef Audrey Spence as she opens her kitchen to teach us more about her pizza construction and ingredients. Aprons will be issued before heading into the shaping room, where you'll learn all about the restaurant's specialty ingredients, including its favorite Italian cheeses and house-made meats. Hands-on instruction includes preparing fine Italian ingredients, mixing sausage with your choice of seasonings, and stretching and shaping Serious Pie's famous dough into your own unique pizza. Class ends with a delicious lunch of pizza and a wine-tasting of four Italian varietals. Limited to 12 people per date. 10–11:30 am; $38; cancellations due two weeks in advance NEW WAC Night at Teatro ZinZanni Thursday, February 28 Spend a night at Teatro ZinZanni and find out why it's affectionately known as "love, chaos and dinner." ZinZanni performances are a three-hour whirlwind of international cirque, improvised comedy and vaudeville, complete with aerial performers, crooners and cabaret artists. They're also served with a five-course feast and elegant libations, all inside an antique Belgian Spiegeltent across from Seattle Center. Teatro ZinZanni pro- ductions combine comedy, music, dance and sensuality. As a special treat, doors will open early for WAC members. Inside, you'll be accessorized for an amusing group photo. When the lobby bar opens, your first glass of wine, spirits or nonalcoholic beverage will be hosted. Then join other members at perimeter booths—or upgrade to premium floor seats—before ordering dinner from a specially created menu. Dietary restrictions can be accommodated with advance notice. Price includes early admission; hat, boa or mask; beverage voucher; general or premium seating; multicourse dinner; taxes; and gratuities. The party will start in Hagerty's with hosted heavy appe- tizers and a cocktail social before a bus full of your favorite WAC friends travels to beautiful Snoqualmie Pass for an adven- turous evening of night tubing. Get ready for two hours of entertainment under the lights. Who doesn't love letting their inner thrill-seeker loose down a machine- groomed hill? Be sure to mark your calendar for an evening you're bound to remember.
