ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT Jubilee Casino Dealer Training Mondays, November 12, 19, 26 Jubilee 83 Friday, November 30 6:30 pm–1 am The stars will be out and the corks will be popping for the WAC's biggest celebra- tion of the year. Enjoy the party and the anticipation as the excitement builds for Julilee 83. The festivities begin with the amazing moveable feast—four buffets on two floors, featuring a seafood raw bar, Indian cuisine, Robata-ya sushi bar, and Polynesian cuisine. At 7:45 pm, the party really heats up as the WAC's longest conga line forms in lobby central, gathering partygoers as it winds its way to the Crystal Ballroom for the official welcome and toast to the WAC's anniversary. The lucky winner of the Jubilee Grand Prize, a 2013 Mercedes-Benz C250 Coupe, will then be announced, and the 23-piece Cosmopolitan Pops Orchestra will light up the stage with the first of its two holiday shows for the evening. But there's more! At 9 pm, Dueling Pianos hits the stage in the Johnson Lobby Lounge, and the band SWAY will rock 'n' roll in the Noble Room with hot pop and retro dance hits. The Jubilee Casino on the 8th Floor opens at 9 pm. Try your luck at black- jack, craps and roulette. Later, relax over late-night dessert. Later yet, catch a break- fast buffet in the Sports Café. Learn more about Jubilee 83 on pages 26–30. This iconic celebration is a black-tie affair, and advance party reservations are a must. Sorry, no walk-ins on Jubilee night. Watch for your invitation in the mail in early November or reserve now.
