WAC events create space for interaction and innovation
When WAC Vice President Membership & Marketing Michelle Pinson was looking to bring 40 of her peers
from around the globe to the WAC for a weeklong conference, she had a simple goal. "We wanted to provide
inspiration and value," she says. Michelle turned to the WAC Catering team with a stack of ideas and con-
cepts for a modern conference that went beyond round tables and classroom seating. The picture in her
mind provided spaces for networking and interactive work. "We wanted to spark creative energy and try
something completely fresh," she says. "The way we got inspiration was by tearing things up."
