Abundant scenery, mild temperatures, and endless options abound right outside our door. Exercise enthusiasts are everywhere. And public open-space areas such as Discovery Park and the Mountains to Sound Greenway are nearly impossible to resist. Right down the street from the WAC, Lake Union welcomes kayakers and paddleboarders to Seattle waters. An hour or so to the east, winter ad- venture awaits skiers and snowboarders on the slopes of the Cascades. We love our outdoor recreation, and we are fit because of it!
