Endurance to swim the length of the pool on front and back. Developing technique for butterfly and backstroke. Level 5: Swimming all four race strokes (crawl stroke, back- stroke, breast stroke, and butterfly) 13–25 yards, refining coor- dination. Fundamental understanding of stroke mechanics. Level 6: Swimming all four race strokes (crawl stroke, back- stroke, breast stroke, and butterfly) 25–50 yards with refined technique. Developed understanding of stroke mechanics, turns, and dives. Foundations Approaching Swim Team (FAST): Focuses on building endurance, refining the four primary strokes, and introducing starts and turns. Private Swim Lessons Available to members of all ages and abilities. Participants will be matched with the best available instructor for their needs. Sign-ups ongoing. Junior Programs Ballet Basics Youth ballet instructor Osiris Reynoso-Lotts will teach partici- pants foundational skills in a fun, relaxed and musical environ- ment. No previous experience required. This six-week series is for members ages 3–5. Please wear leotards, tights, and ballet shoes (or another soft shoe with a nonmarking sole). Registration takes place Wednesday, March 1–Monday, April 3.
