JANUARY / FEBRUARY 2017 | 41 February 2 National Theatre of Scotland Presents: Let the Right One In The Moore Theatre Oskar is a lonely teenage boy living with his mother at the edge of town. Eli, a girl who has just moved in next door, doesn't go to school and never leaves the flat by day. Sensing in each other a kindred spirit, the two quickly become devoted friends. But Eli has a secret that Oskar doesn't know. And as their friendship deepens, a series of sinister killings shock the neighborhood. An enchanting production, Let the Right One In is a truly rare piece of theater replete with vampire folklore and a coming-of- age love story. u 7:30 pm; $59 February 10–March 5 The Pajama Game The 5th Avenue Theatre Things are getting steamy at the Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory, where the handsome new superintendent is falling hard for the feisty firebrand heading the union grievance committee. But sparks really fly when the workers go on strike for a pay raise, setting off not only a conflict between management and labor, but a battle of the sexes as well. The show that introduced Bob Fosse's choreography style with seductive dance numbers, such as "Steam Heat" and "Hernando's Hideaway," is stuffed with slapstick humor and a finger-clicking jazzy score. u $88–$108; contact clubprograms@wac.net for available dates TICKETS All tickets are noncancelable and nonrefundable.
