Boisterous numbers and rich ballads include the memorable "They Call the Wind Maria," "I Talk to the Trees," and "I Was Born Under a Wand'rin Star." Set in the rough-and-tumble world of the 1849 California gold rush, this story follows the men and women who take a leap of faith by journeying to California seeking fortune, only to find themselves swept up in a clash of culture, passion, greed, and romance. The 5th Avenue reinvents this lusty musical with new dialogue and drama commissioned for the show. Seattle will be the first city in the world to see the new incarnation of this thrilling musical adventure.
