6 | Washington Athletic Club Magazine | MAY / JUNE 2016 1 2 3 WOMEN'S AND COED FITNESS MANAGER MAUREEN EGGERS demonstrates the Incline Walking Push-Up, an exercise great for building strength in the chest and triceps. The hand-walking in this exercise targets shoulder stabilizers and works the core as you try to balance your body. 1. Begin in an incline plank with your hands placed just outside your shoulders on a box or step. 2. Walk your hands to one side of the bench and drop your outside hand to the floor. 3. Complete a push-up. When done, walk your hands over the box to complete your next push-up on the other side. Complete 10 reps on each side.
