Cheer on Mariners legend Ichiro Suzuki as the Mariners retire his No. 51, just two weeks after his induction into the Hall of Fame. August 10 WAC Picnic at Gas Works Park Join our all-ages gathering on the shore of Lake Union. Bring your own food, drink, and favorite games. Thursday, August 14 Lake Union Scavenger Hunt We're bringing back a WAC favorite. Compete in a scavenger hunt for bragging rights while cruising in an electric Duffy boat. Seafair signature events Seafair is a WAC Community Partner, and the WAC is the official athletic club of the Seafair Triathlon. Friday, July 4 Amazon Seafair Fourth of July Enjoy the annual fireworks show from spots on and around Lake Union. Sunday, July 20 Seafair Triathlon Join the city's premier three-sport race or volunteer at our hydration station. See page 39. Saturday, July 26 Torchlight Run The city's classic summer 5K returns to downtown. Torchlight Parade More than 100 parade entries celebrate cultural diversity and Pacific Northwest tradition. Monday–Friday July 28–August 1 Fleet Week Tour vessels and meet servicemembers in the Navy and Coast Guard. Thursday, July 31 Brunch and the Blues Join fellow WAC members at this annual event on the tarmac at King County International Airport and watch the Blue Angels up-close. See page 40. Friday–Sunday August 1–3 Seafair Weekend Festival The Boeing Seafair Airshow, Apollo Mechanical Cup Hydroplane Races, and more center on Genesee Park.
