her mom and a younger brother. She played tennis and golf growing up and even caddied for the U.S. Amateur at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club. By the time she was in high school, Jennifer was volunteering with Kids Making Miracles, a program that brings students together to raise money for Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland, and was involved with student government. Her very first leadership role came as kindergarten class president. She held class leadership positions throughout college and law school and was a student member of the Gonzaga Board of Regents. She's a member of Seattle Rotary #4, has served on the board, and was co-chair of the International Service Committee. Her call to public service comes from her mom, Margaret. "She always volunteered when I was growing up," Jennifer says. "My mom thought that you should give back, and so we always did." Jennifer is midway through her lunch. Looking around Hagerty's, she smiles. Members and guests have filled most of the tables since we started eating. Jennifer sat on the WAC Board of Governors throughout the pandemic "I always leave the WAC happier than when I arrived, and it is my hope that every WAC member feels that way.
