I love the WAC! I am honored to serve as your Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Washington Athletic Club for the 2022–2023 term. As I take on this role, I'm grateful for the steadfast leadership of Immediate Past Chairman Jason Hamilton (2021–2022) and former Chairman Gregg Blodgett (2020–2021) as we navigated the changing landscape. It is an exciting time for the WAC. We are a stronger and more connected community, a community strengthened by the dedication and commitment of the WAC's team members, led by WAC President & CEO Chuck Nelson. We're investing in improvements, such as the new lobby-level coffee shop, which will allow for more community building as you enter the Club. Stay tuned for other great improvements on the way. If you know me, you know that I love the WAC! I love the joy that fills the air, whether it's friends getting together in Hagerty's, a peaceful yoga class, or a warm greeting from a WAC team member. All these things make up a community that is truly exceptional. As I reflect on my almost 20-year membership at the WAC and try to describe how the Club makes me feel, it's simple—whenever I leave the WAC, I leave happier. It is my hope that you do, too. I look forward to seeing you at the Club. With much gratitude, Jennifer Porto Chairman of the Board of Governors jporto@wac.net
