While we haven't seen our world return to something we'd consider "normal," we still have a lot to be grateful for as a Club and a community. In my opinion, we are embarking on one of the most magical seasons at the Washington Athletic Club. ere's nothing quite like walking into the WAC and seeing the beautiful holiday decor and overall transformation that the Clubhouse takes on this time of the year. It also means that events like GingerMania, Jubilee (our annual black-tie anniversary gala), and the New Year's Eve Party are once again upon us! Aer a virtual anniversary celebration last year, members and guests are invited to Jubilee 91 on Friday, December 3—in person! Yes, mask mandates may still be in effect, but if they are I'm looking forward to having a safe "mask-erade" ball and enjoying all of the food, wine, spirits, dancing, and camaraderie. For new members, or veteran members who haven't attended Jubilee before, this is an event you don't want to miss! Moreover, when is the last time you put on a tuxedo or a gown and let loose? If you haven't already purchased your tickets, do so quickly as space is limited. (Hot tip—try to reserve a room at the Inn at the WAC, too!) Beyond Jubilee, the WAC does a tremendous job of creating opportunities for members and their families to create memories throughout the year, but specifically during November and December. Check out the Club Programs section of the magazine, starting on page 38, to see all of the offerings available. Lastly, I want to send you my heartfelt appreciation for your continued membership and support of the Washington Athletic Club. It's a special place with special people, and it's only getting better! From my family to yours, happy holidays! Jason Hamilton Chairman of the Board of Governors jhamilton@wac.net
