Washington Athletic Club - Dedicated 1930 - Mission To enrich the quality of life of our members Vision To be the premier city athletic club in America Values Leadership, Excellence, Integrity, Service, and Sensitivity Beliefs Statement At the WAC, we believe in our diverse, inclusive community. We believe that love and respect are stronger than hate. We believe that together is stronger than divided. We believe in Seattle. Bringing back the holidays e holiday season is always a special time of year for our WAC community, and this year will be no exception. Regardless of any safety-assuring virus-related guidelines, the direct correlation of what we all have missed and what the WAC offers is a solid-circle Venn diagram. Our ambitions are to return to friends, to fun experiences, to health and wellness. We want to laugh and enjoy special experiences with people we enjoy. We also want (need?) to recommit (commit for the first time?) to getting in shape aer a year and a half (or longer?) of inactivity. In essence, the full definition of what the WAC is all about—an improved quality of life. We all have different levels of anxiety or enthusiasm about re-engaging with the world and expanding our lives outside of the circles we have lived within these past 20 months. For all of us, this issue of WAC Magazine is loaded with opportunities to find what we are looking for, in an environment that is safe and welcoming and trusted. is is also a time of appreciation and thanks. Please know how much the Washington Athletic Club and our wonderful team members appreciate the support of the membership. Your kind greetings, your sincere notes and emails, and, frankly, your simply coming into the Clubhouse and allowing the team to do what we love to do—provide a great day for our WAC members—is heartwarming. We all have had much to deal with, and yet here we are, together, celebrating each other and our good times. I raise my glass in a holiday toast to you and to us. Blessings to all! @cnhuskies13 Chuck Nelson President & CEO cnelson@wac.net
