X Wednesday; 6–8 pm; $105; cancel by November 11 26 Seattle International Comedy Competition Night 1 Finals The Crystal Ballroom transforms into the WAC's very own comedy club for night one of finals week of the Seattle International Comedy Competition. The top five comedians battle for the night's best score, top honors, and a shot at cash and prizes. The pressure is on as the comedians take the stage for 20-minute sets of their best material. You can join for just the show or arrive an hour early to enjoy a buffet dinner of Mexican food. Includes comedy show, dinner and dessert buffet, and validated parking in the WAC Garage. X Tuesday; 6 pm buffet, 7–9 pm show; $72 per person, $44 per person (show, parking); cancel by November 18 NOVEMBER 18, 25 & DECEMBER 2 Jubilee Casino Dealer Training N Be part of the WAC's 90th Jubilee anniversary celebration by volunteering in the Crystal Casino. Hone your skills or learn how to deal blackjack, craps, or roulette with three training sessions. You can also volunteer as a card shuffler or runner. Meet your fellow members while you learn, and enjoy a buffet dinner complete with beverages. New dealers must attend all sessions. All volunteers will work a two-hour shift on Jubilee night; the rest of the evening is for you to enjoy the party! Please note, dealers must reserve their Jubilee tickets at wac.net/jubilee-90 starting at 11 am on October 1. Go holiday-themed with one snowman or two ornaments, icicles or candy canes. Feeling more traditional? You can make two bowls, vases or fruit instead at this hands-on workshop. The professional glassblowing team will assist as you heat a molten blob, dip it in your choice of crushed colored glass, fire it in the 2,000-degree kiln, then blow or work it into the perfect size and shape.
