Aloha wear welcome. u Tuesday; $38; 6:30–9:30 pm; cancel by November 1 08 New Nordic Museum Tour Ballard's spacious and beautiful new heritage museum is America's largest museum dedicated to the art, history and culture of Scandinavia. Nordic history is exhibited from the Stone Age to the present, with displays that highlight immigrant movement and its impact on our own region. Our docent-led tour includes an overview of the museum and the permanent core exhibi- tion, "Nordic Journeys." Self- tour additional exhibits, then enjoy a personal smorgas- bord and Scandinavian spirits in the museum's Freya Nordic Café & Bar. We're taking one of the WAC's longest-running traditions on the road. Hockey fever is high in Seattle, and we're joining the mad- ness. The fun begins with a private motor coach trip south to watch the Seattle Thunderbirds take on the Everett Silvertips at the Kent ShoWare Center. Watch the teams battle for victory from a luxury suite while enjoying a buffet dinner and drinks. Perfect for boys and men of all ages. Event includes trans- portation, game ticket, game swag, and dinner. Hone your skills as a craps, blackjack or rou- lette dealer; or learn to be a card shuffler and runner. It's perfect for singles or couples and a great way to meet oth- er members. Everyone will work a two-hour shift on Jubi- lee night, but the rest of the evening is for you to enjoy the party. Training sessions include a light dinner buffet with beverages. New dealers should attend all sessions. Amer- ica's biggest touring comedy festival stops here for night one of its finals week. Five comedians present their best material in 20-minute sets as they battle for the night's top score and a shot at cash and prizes. Join for just the show, or come early for a delicious buffet prepared by Executive Chef Eric Floyd. Includes comedy show, dinner buffet, dessert, and validated parking in the WAC Garage.
