6 WAC Magazine | wac.net from the Chairman and President & CEO Jubilee and beyond! When the calendar turns to the holidays, I look forward to enjoying the season with family and friends. It feels like there are never-ending opportunities to raise a glass in the festive spirit. One of the !xtures of my season is the WAC's annual anniversary party, Jubilee. For more than 15 years, it's been a party I haven't missed. "e celebration almost always takes place on Friday the week a#er "anksgiving, and many members would agree that it's the perfect kicko$ to their holiday schedule. Don't miss this year's party on November 30! Beyond Jubilee, Michelle and I are looking forward to the joy that will come from watching the wonderment in our little one's eyes as she experiences her second Christmas—and the !rst with her eyes wide open! We can't wait to walk downtown and enjoy the lights, the gingerbread houses, and of course, the Santa photos at the WAC. All of the opportunities for celebration remind me that we are members of an athletic club. Although it might be a little more di%cult to get out of bed in the morning and hit the gym a#er that last eggnog, hopefully I'll see you there. "is season, I also invite you to take a step back and be thankful for all of your blessings. "e city around us might be changing every day, but the community inside the Clubhouse remains. I look forward to seeing you at the Club this season.
