34 WAC Magazine | wac.net By Michelle Pinson, VP Membership & Marketing Welcome to your bimonthly refresher course in Membership 101—a collec- tion of answers for "how to," "where is," "what if," and "why don't we" questions. Not surprisingly, the most frequently asked questions of Member Services center on the WAC's guest policy: What are the allowances and restrictions? How much does it cost? How frequently are guests welcome? Let's answer a few basic questions to help demystify the general process around bringing guests to the Club. And remember, all rules associated with this privilege—and the complete WAC Bylaws and House Rules—are available to members 24/7 on wac.net. Ask Member Services Answering your common questions about the Club Q: Do I have to be with my guest? A: A guest will only be admitted to the Club by security one of three ways: 1. You must accompany your guest. 2. If you do not plan to accompany your guest, they must carry a guest pass issued by Member Services. 3. You must sponsor your guest to stay at the Inn at the WAC. If you are meeting a guest here and you arrive separately, your guest will be welcomed by security and invited to wait for you in the lobby. If your guest would like to work out, you must always accompany them, no exceptions. Q: Are there fees for guest visits? A: "ere are fees for a guest pass and for guests' usage of the #tness, gym, pool, and sport courts. Guest rates also apply at the Spa and Inn at the WAC. "is allows guests to experi- ence the Club while ensuring that members receive preferred pricing. A!er all, membership has its perks! Q: How many times can I bring guests to the Club? A: In some club areas, such as dining or the Spa, you are welcome to accompany your guests without limitation. In the #tness areas, gym, courts, and pool, guests may use our facilities three times in a six-month period. Q: How do I keep all of this straight? A: Please lean on your Member Services team to help you navigate the guest pass policy or any other questions you have about your membership. "e lobby desk is open 8 am–5 pm on Monday–Friday, and the membership section of wac.net is always open. "ank you for the desire to share your club with friends, family and associates. Sharing the WAC is a time-honored tradition and keeps the legacy of members driving membership alive and well.
