Head behind the scenes with the WAC's very own Devan Grose (he's also a WAC swim instructor!) as you learn how programmers use, build and repair code. Similar to hockey in its formation and rules, it also incorporates some soccer strategies. Join us as we take to the ice at Highland Ice Arena in Shoreline for an evening of competition, scoring goals, and pizza. No experience required for this fun evening on the ice. Come ready to master the game of broomball. Did you know that there used to be a parking garage and a bowling alley inside? Join WAC engi- neer and 61-year Club legend Bill Rawe for a detailed tour of all the places you've won- dered about. We'll start deep in the sub-basement and work our way up, discovering eight staircases, a wine cel- lar, chiller room, and kennels. You'll see the WAC carpentry, paint, and engineers' shops; 5th Floor pump room for He- lene Madison Pool; and the infamous penthouse. Oh, the stories Bill can tell! N Whether using it in your favorite dish or relishing in its rejuvenating properties for your skin, we "olive" olive oil! We'll use our senses of smell, taste and touch to learn about the enriching properties of cold-pressed olive oil in everyday cooking. Linda McVay, certified trainer and owner of University Canine Learning Academy, will unravel some of the mysteries of why dogs do what they do and discuss some strategies to help them be the best family dog they can be—and us the best owners we can be.
