Eat Seattle Tours joins with WAC Chef Austin Navarre to take you through the market's bustling aisles to meet purveyors and gather peak seasonal produce. After the tour, roll up your sleeves and join Chef Austin in preparing a seasonal lunch that highlights the vibrant flavors of early summer. Shop, cook, taste, and savor a true Seattle culinary adventure. Friday; see the WAC app for time and pricing; cancel by June 3. 20s/30s Pickleball Nights JUNE 16–JULY 14 Take in long summer evenings, friendly competition, and pickleball at one of Seattle's most scenic courts! The 20s/30s community is playing pickleball at the Magnolia Pickleball Courts on Tuesday evenings from mid-June to mid-July. Enjoy relaxed play, great rallies, and quick instruction from WAC Pickleball Pro Jennifer Wood. Jennifer can teach you how to pickleball, sharpen your existing game, and offer tips to players of all levels. Tuesdays; 6–7:30 pm; check the WAC app for more details. Book Club: "The Professor and the Madman" by Simon Winchester JUNE 22 Simon Winchester's "The Professor and the Madman" is the incredible true story behind the creation of the monumental Oxford English Dictionary. It centers on the unlikely 20-year partnership between two vastly different men: James Murray, WHISKEY CLUB The WAC Whiskey Club is a curated tasting experience designed for members who enjoy slowing down and savoring exceptional spirits. Each gathering explores a specific theme through thoughtfully selected whiskies, ranging from approachable pours to rare and expressive bottles, paired with delightful bites. It's an intimate, social evening that invites conversation, discovery, and a deeper appreciation of whiskey's craft. WAC member and Master of the Whiskey Club Jesse Bennet leads these tastings. He shares his insights on the stories and flavor profiles that bring each bottle to life. Events are limited to 25 attendees for a small group feel. American Whiskey Spectrum JUNE 25 Experience the range of American whiskey with a curated flight featuring bourbon, rye, American single malt, and a unique grain- forward expression, showcasing the diversity beyond bourbon alone. World Whiskey Spotlight AUGUST 27 Travel beyond the traditional with an international tasting tour featuring standout pours from Japan, India, Taiwan, and Australia. TOASTMASTERS MAY 5–JUNE 30 The WAC Toastmasters Club uses proven methods to help you organize thoughts, articulate ideas, and make powerful statements. The group meets in-person at the WAC on the first and third Tuesdays at 6 pm, and virtually on the second and fourth Tuesdays at 7 am.
