We gather monthly to trade stories, laugh, and enjoy the best of our community. For the May meetup, we'll kick things off in Torchy's. Then, starting in June, we're bringing the conversation closer to home by rotating our gatherings through members' condos. It's all about great company and building meaningful connections. Tuesdays; 5:30–7:30 pm; Location varies; complimentary/ no-host. Seattle Opera Costume Shop Tour MAY 20 Step behind the curtain with a WAC-exclusive tour of the Seattle Opera's renowned costume shop. Fresh off their run of Carmen, the shop's artists and artisans will guide you through the process of bringing iconic characters to life from initial sketches to handstitched detail. Explore the workspace where hundreds of costumes are created, restored, and prepared for the stage. A private reception with fellow members follows the tour. Exclusive Tour: The Gates Foundation HQ MAY 21 Come for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the Gates Foundation's global headquarters. This immersive campus tour offers a unique perspective on how one of the world's largest philanthropic organizations operates daily to solve some of humanity's most persistent challenges.
