is merely an homage to a time when
the club hoped to circumvent local
gambling laws by shuttling members out
to waiting cruise ships—there's plenty
to enjoy at this reciprocal club perched
above the Pacific Ocean.

THINGS TO SEE
Stop by historic landmark Casa del
Herrero for a trip back to 1920s
California, or tour Lotusland, the former
home and gardens of opera-singer-
turned-garden-designer Madame
Walska. There's also the nearby Santa
Barbara Zoo and, of course, the beaches
of the Pacific Ocean!
restaurant—an oceanfront establishment
with panoramic views. Montecito lies
adjacent to Santa Barbara, considered
by many the most majestic town in all of
the Golden State.
As a reciprocal club guest, you'll pay
a daily resort fee of $35 to access the
Coral club's spectacular outdoor pool,
fitness center, tennis courts, and both
restaurants.
Recently remodeled to re-create the
original 1930s art deco look, the club
evokes casual California luxury of days
past. Following a temporary closure due
to last winter's mudslides and flooding,
the club is slated to reopen this summer.
Put this club on your summer to-do
list and enjoy an unrivaled beachside
vacation.
